The Salt & Brine Guidance powered by VSI by BOSS Snowplow is designed to recommend the most optimal deicing application for the event. But if your operation only has granular or treated bulk salt available, you should apply that material instead.

If the guidance calls for a specific brine blend or ratio that you don’t have on hand, simply adjust your application rate slightly up or down to stay aligned with the intent of the recommendation. The guidance is flexible and can be adapted to whatever material you are using.
